Sheets, towels and the essentials for the bathroom are waiting for you, already laid out. In the kitchen you will find pots, crockery and a stocked pantry — and a small welcome basket, with oil from our own trees and a few other things the house makes. You need to bring nothing: just arrive.

Nature, all around

A place that is looked after.

The house sits in the middle of the green, and it has a clear ethic. Solar and photovoltaic panels heat the pool and make the electricity the house needs, to cut emissions without giving anything up. All around, the wildlife and the plants have their own balance: an ecosystem to respect, not just to look at. The garden is alive and follows the seasons — it gives different fruit at different times, and there is always a vegetable garden to help yourself from. The pool is still the best way to enjoy all of it, from morning to evening.

The outdoor kitchen

Dinner outside, until late

Under the portico there is a real kitchen: the fire, the worktop, the long table in the shade of the wisteria. You lay it at midday and you stay there. In the afternoon drinks move down to the pool, with the green all around and the hills opening up in front of you; in the evening the lights come on under the beams, a bottle is opened and dinner goes on and on — with nobody waiting for the table.
